LYNTON LUMINA IPL LASER

At Harmony, all treatments are performed on the Lynton Lumina Laser which is a medical grade laser used in hospitals throughout the UK. This machine has a fabulous proven track record providing a comprehensive clinical facility for hair removal, vascular treatments, pigmentation, acne and skin rejuvenation.

A patch test is required at least 48hrs before any laser treatment but at Harmony we would advise 1 week prior. A free consultation is available to discuss this further where a medical history is taken to confirm suitability for treatment. A small patch test is then given where a fee of £30 will be charged. 50% of this is redeemable against your Laser treatment/course.

Hair Removal

The Lynton Lumina will provide a permanent or long term solution to unwanted hair. Light is selectively absorbed by melanin, the pigment in the hair follicles. The light energy heats the pigment and effectively destroys the hair follicles without damaging the surrounding cells. Treatments are conducted every 4-8 weeks until a satisfactory result is seen. The required number of treatments varies but typically 6 or more can be needed for optimum results.

Acne Treatment

An effective Acne Combination therapy may include one or all of the following clinically proven treatments: Microdermabrasion gently exfoliates the skin, clearing any debris, unclogging the pores and smoothing away areas of acne scarring. Finally, intense pulse light treatment uses a broadband light to kill the bacteria responsible for acne and also tricks the skin to stimulate its own wound healing mechanism which promotes rapid skin healing.
